We have access to the most responsible line of enviro-inspired products. Our vendor partners support leading environmental initiatives such as DFE (Design for Environment), ISO 14001, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), EcoLogo, and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). LEED AP's (LEED Accredited Professionals). Our LEED AP's have helped clients attain LEED certification by offering them an advanced level of understanding, technical knowledge and service.
Through the empowerment of our associates and local communities, we continue to strengthen and clean our surrounding neighbourhoods. As part of our continued efforts, Grand & Toy partners with Start2Finish (formerly KidsFest) to provide underprivileged children with backpacks and school supplies. Our associates helped prepare more than 3,500 backpacks of school supplies and hand-delivered them to schools across Canada.
We also launched A Day Made Better, a program recognizing exceptional teachers who have made the lives of their students better through their personal contributions in the classroom. Grand & Toy associates surprise winning teachers with the delivery of a new chair and office supplies.

Last year, we hosted 42 GREENOFFICE Lunch and Learn sessions highlighting environmentally preferable products and solutions. Helping our customers make informed decisions about sustainability is a responsibility we take seriously. Of the total number of products in our ordering guide, 23% are environmentally preferable and that number continues to grow. Our practices don't end with product however. Our service model is constantly upgraded to reflect our sustainable choices and we continue to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and improve on our waste diversion by implementing key corporate programs.
