Residents of Canada who are the age of majority may enter the Challenge. Log onto www.grandandtoy.com/greenoffice select the “Office Hero” Challenge icon, complete the online entry form with full name, complete mailing address (including postal code), daytime telephone number (including area code), email address and include a two hundred and fifty (250) word or less paragraph explaining the before and after effects of how you, or your company you work for, have instituted an environmental change within the company or workforce. Next, click the “submit” icon and you will be entered automatically into the Challenge. All entries must be received on or before 11:59:59 PM (ET) on the relevant cut-off-date as described in Rule 5.
- Paragraph Requirements
Paragraphs must be two hundred and fifty (250) words or less in length and contain entirely original work (i.e. must not contain any copyrighted works other than those owned by the entrant and must not otherwise infringe the intellectual property rights of any person). Entries may not include any of the following:
(a) profanity, sexually explicit, offensive, harassing, disparaging, libelous or other inappropriate content;
(b) language suggesting or encouraging illegal activity;
Entries that do not satisfy the above requirements (or that are otherwise considered inappropriate in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Sponsor) will be void and ineligible for entry into the Challenge.
Limit of one (1) entry per person per Monthly Challenge Period (see Rule 5), up to a maximum of eight (8) unique entries during the Challenge Period. You must have a valid email address to enter the Challenge. Email accounts can be obtained free of charge from many internet service providers. Email addresses received on-line shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

PRIZES
There will be a total of eight (8) Monthly Prizes available to be won (one (1) each month during the Challenge Period), each consisting of one (1) Planet Earth DVD Set and one (1) basket of environmentally friendly products as selected by the Sponsor.. The approximate retail value of each Monthly Prize is $ 200.00 (CDN). Monthly Prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution and are not transferable, not for resale and have no cash surrender value. The Sponsor reserves the right, in the event that a Monthly Prize or any component of a Monthly Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute another prize or component of a prize of equal or greater value, without liability.

THE SELECTION PROCESS
Each Monthly Prize selection process will take place from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Monthly Challenge Period (see rule 5). Each month during the Challenge Period, one (1) selected entrant will be chosen by a panel of judges based on: 1) the creativity of the paragraph submitted by the entrant 2) the positive impact the selected entrant made on the environment within his/her workforce and or company and 3) the entry form having been fully completed (see Rule 1). Odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received during each Monthly Challenge Period and the judges' decisions based on the selection criteria set out above. PLEASE NOTE: Entries will not be carried over into the following month's selection process. The selected entrant will be contacted by mail or telephone within ten (10) business days of the applicable selection date. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within ten (10) business days of the applicable selection date, the selected entrant will be disqualified and another entrant will be selected until such time as contact is made by mail or telephone with a selected entrant or there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a selected entrant.

ELIGIBILITY
To enter and be eligible to win, a person must be a resident of Canada who has reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which he/she resides and who is not an employee of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies or agents, its respective advertising or promotional agencies, the independent contest organization or a member of any such employee’s immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom they are domiciled (whether related to the employee or not). In these Official Rules, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse.

GENERAL
By entering the Challenge, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of the independent contest organization, with respect to all aspects of the Challenge, which are final.
To be declared a Monthly Prize Winner, a selected entrant must answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question. Each selected entrant will also be required to sign a declaration and release form (the “release form”) confirming compliance with the official rules, acceptance of a Monthly Prize as awarded, without substitution, and releasing the Sponsor, its affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent contest organization and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “released parties”) from any liability in connection with a Monthly Prize or the Challenge. The release form must be returned within the time period specified on the release form or the Monthly Prize will be forfeited. Monthly Prizes will be delivered by courier from the independent contest organization to the winners, to the address listed on the entry form of each winner, within thirty (30) days of being declared a winner.
The Sponsor accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from the Challenge or a Monthly Prize. By entering and accepting a Monthly Prize, each winner consents to the use of his/her name, photo, company address (city and province) and/or company logo without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to this Challenge.
The Sponsor and the independent contest organization will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete or destroyed entries; all such entries are void. The Sponsor and the independent contest organization do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry material/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified.
The Sponsor reserves the right, with the consent of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (the “Régie”) in the Province of Québec, to terminate or amend this Challenge at any time and in any way, without prior notice. Without limiting the foregoing, if, for any reason, the Challenge is not capable of running as originally planned, such as tampering, the Sponsor reserves the right, with the consent of the Régie, to cancel the Challenge and conduct a random draw from all previously received eligible entries received by the Challenge Closing Date.

For Québec residents only
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
All entries become the permanent property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. No correspondence will be entered into, except with the selected entrants. The Challenge is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
- The Sponsor respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Sponsor to administer the Challenge and, only if consent is given at the time of entry, to provide the entrants with information regarding upcoming promotions and/or events from the Sponsor. If entrants provide consent when entering the Challenge, entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in the Sponsors’ privacy policy, which is available at www.grandandtoy.com
